Brighton Township Ordinance No. 122 requires the owners of residential rental properties to register the names and addresses of their tenants, with such registration to be renewed on or before February 1st and August 1st of each succeeding year. Failure to do so could make a person subject to a fine of between $50 and $100 for violation of Township Ordinance. Registration of rental property tenants will better enable the Township to impose tax levies on an equitable and uniform basis.Owners of rental properties should complete the following form and submit it to the Township office.
