LIBRARY
Township residents are within a few minutes’ drive of the Beaver Area Memorial Library an outstanding community facility in the historic center of Beaver along picturesque River Road and College Avenue. With a collection of more than 52,000 titles and high speed access to vast online resources, the library has served Brighton Township residents and other Beaver Area communities since 1949.
CHURCHES
Seven houses of worship reside within Brighton Township: Beaver Assembly of God on Dutch Ridge Road, Beaver Baptist Church on Tuscarawas Road, Beaver Valley Church of God on Beaner Hollow Road, Hope Lutheran Church on Tuscarawas Road, Tusca Reformed Presbyterian on Darlington Road, St. Nicholas Chapel on Lisbon Road and the Chapel Presbyterian on Barclay Hill Road. As well, churches of many denominations are located in nearby communities.
SHOPPING
A shopping center is located on Tuscarawas Road, near the Dawson Ridge plan of homes. The Beaver Valley Mall and shops in quaint Bridgewater and along Third Street in Beaver’s downtown business district are within a few minutes’ drive.
DINING
Several small dining establishments are located at and near the Tusca Plaza Shopping Center near the intersection of Dutch Ridge Road and Tuscarawas Road. Many fine restaurants in Beaver and Bridgewater are a short distance away.
SEVEN OAKS COUNTRY CLUB
Seven Oaks Country Club features high-quality dining, recreation and one of the most challenging golf courses in Western Pennsylvania. The 18-hole championship golf course integrates the natural landscape to feature rolling hills winding through stately oaks, tree lined fairways, streams, lakes and open spaces. Seven Oaks Country Club also features a members-only swimming pool.
