Hardy Field Complex

Located along Tuscarawas Road,  this athletic park property spans 22 acres and is the most widely-used sports facility in the township. Local residents use the complex to play and watch soccer, football and baseball. It also features a playground, paved walking trails, picnic shelter, concession stand and indoor restrooms.

 

It is the centerpiece for recreation in Brighton Township and is a top-notch facility providing activities for the entire family.

 

The Brighton Township Bears team has used the football field here for six decades, and a new football complex was dedicated in 2013. In addition to the Beaver Area, the team welcomes players and cheerleaders from the Ohioville, Industry and Midland communities.

 

The American Legion-size baseball field is used by the Brighton Township Baseball Club, American Legion, and is the home field of the Beaver Area High School baseball team. 

 

The complex is the home of the Brighton Township-Beaver Soccer Association used by students of all ages ranging from five to 18. The Beaver Area Middle School soccer teams also use the fields.

Connecting walking tracks around the soccer and baseball fields provide exercise and recreational opportunity for all ages. The park also provides a playground concession, storage, and indoor restrooms are connected with a series of sidewalks and stairs to provide convenience and comfort.  Pets are not permitted within the park.
