Used year-round, the 85-acre Two Mile Run Park is the largest and most popular township park, nestled next to a brook in a leafy, quiet retreat, with plenty of free parking. At a reasonable charge, residents use the park’s Shultz Lodge for graduation and retirement parties, wedding showers and receptions, birthday gatherings, business meetings and family reunions. When you rent these facilities, they are yours to use for the entire day. Pets are not permitted.
Shultz Lodge is the jewel of the park, with plenty of space and heating/air conditioning for comfort in winter and summer. The lodge has 90 chairs and 12 tables (8′ rectangle). In the warmer months, the attached pavilion at the rear of the lodge is also available to use and included in the rental price of the lodge. The kitchen is equipped with a counter, sink, two refrigerators, electric stove and a microwave oven, making food preparation easy and efficient, and cleanup a snap. Be advised that no cookware, dishes or utensils are available – bring your own. A television is also included in the rental and is mounted on the wall.

Open Air Shelters are available for rental during the months of April through September. Shelter #1, located beside the lodge on the right side, and Shelter #2 (across walkway bridge to the right of Shelter 1) Shelter 1 has 12 picnic tables and Shelter 2 has 10 picnic tables. Both have their own outdoor restrooms for your convenience. Shelter 1 has a barbecue grill in the center of the pavilion. Shelter 2 has a fireplace grill on one end of the pavilion. Nearby are basketball courts and a playground area for both shelters to enjoy. Some churches have used the pavilions for outdoor services in the summertime. Shelter #3 is located a short distance away with a separate entrance at 2195 Gypsy Glen Road. Shelter #3 has 12 picnic tables for patrons as well as a barbecue grill, ballfield and restroom facilities in addition to a large lighted parking area.
