Located on Gypsy Glen Road, Two Mile Run Park is one of the township’s largest and most popular parks, nestled next to a brook in a leafy, quiet retreat, with plenty of free parking. At a reasonable charge, residents use the park’s Shultz Lodge for graduation and retirement parties, wedding showers and receptions, birthday gatherings, business meetings and family reunions. When you rent these facilities, they are yours to use for the entire day. Pets are not permitted.

Shultz Lodge is available for rental year round. The lodge has 90 chairs and 12 tables available for use inside. In the warmer months, the attached pavilion at the rear of the lodge is also available. The kitchen is equipped with a counter, sink, two (2) refrigerators, electric stove and a microwave oven. There are no cookware, dishes or utensils available.

Shelter #1 (located beside the lodge) will accommodate approximately 75 and shelter #2 approximately 50. There are barbecue pits available at the shelters. Shelters are available for rental during the months of May through September.

Shelter #3 is  located a short distance away with a separate entrance at 2195 Gypsy Glen Road. The shelter has 12 picnic tables for patrons as well as a barbecue grill, ballfield and restroom facilities in addition to a large lighted parking area.

Reservations can be made by calling the Township office at (724) 774-4800 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Rental forms are available on the Applications and Forms Page.

Two Mile Run Park has an extensive trail system, with nearly 3-miles of trails. The most challenging portion of the trail, identified as Loop A on the Two Mile Run Trail System map, is accessed from a point near Shelter #2, and ascends the hill through the woods. The trails accessed from the Sheter #3 area are less difficult, but offer a peaceful and serene view of the surrounding park areas.
