The Brighton Township Municipal Authority will be conducting a Flushing Program on the Township’s water distribution lines.  Flushing will begin August 25th, 2025, and will last approximately 3 weeks. BTMA – Lead and Copper Inventory

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Lead and Copper Rule required public water systems, including the Brighton Township Municipal Authority (BTMA), to complete an initial inventory of water service lines and to categorize them as: Lead; Galvanized Requiring Replacement; Lead Status Unknown; or Non-Lead. Rental Registration Reminder

Brighton Township code requires each owner of rental property located within the Township to register the rental property and tenants age 18 and over.
