Disc Golf
Located behind the Public Works site at 1250 Brighton Road, this is a pleasantly hidden park of rolling meadows and walkways encompassing 76 acres. It includes a one-mile long, 10-feet wide paved walking trail through a clean wooded area and a nine-hole, professionally designed, par 35 disc golf course.
The disc golf course winds its way through mown grassy trails in the woods. It is used for tournaments and events and provides a real challenge to disc golfers. A score card and overall course map are available here. Not sure how to play? Click here for some basic rules for recreational play.
Benches are conveniently spaced along the trail for the convenience of walkers needing a brief rest. Pets are permitted on a leash.
The township’s long-term goal is to connect this park with its popular Two Mile Run Park, which are separated by a wetland and just 1,200 linear feet of space owned by others.
Funding for purchase and development of Two Mile Run Park Extension was made possible in part through the Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund administered by the Bureau of Recreation and Conservation of the Pennsylvania Department of Natural Resources.
