The Municipal Building on Brighton Road. One is provided to each dwelling free of charge. Replacements or additional barrels are $10.00 each.

4. Where can I purchase a dog license?
The Treasurer’s Office at the Beaver County Court House at 724-728-5700.

 

5. What is the property millage in Brighton Township?
The Township millage rate is 2.05 mills; the County is 3.67 mills; and the school district is proposed at 12.22 mills. Each mill represents $1.00 in Real Estate taxes per $1,000.00 of assessed value.

 

6. Who is the property tax collector?
James W. Onuska at 724-774-2622. Office hours at the Municipal Building, 1300 Brighton Road are:
Tuesday  4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Thursday  9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

 

If residents are not serviced, or escrowed by a mortgage company, and do not receive their Brighton Township Real Estate Tax bills, please contact the tax collector.
 

 7. What is the percentage of earned income tax? Who does the collection?
The tax is paid to the Beaver Area School District and Brighton Township at 1/2 of 1% each.
The Collector is Berkheimer. The PSD Code for Brighton Township is 040303.  The Berkheimer web site is www.hab-inc.com.  They can also be reached at 1-866-701-7206.  Berkheimer also collects Brighton Township Per Capita Tax. Calls for Per Capita Tax should be directed to (610) 599-3141.
 

8. Who provides animal control service?
The Beaver County Humane Society at 724-775-5801.

 

9. Where can I obtain a Township map?
From the Township offices at the Municipal Building on Brighton Road.

 

10. What are the business hours for the Municipal Building?
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Closed from noon until 1:00 p.m.

 

11. Who are the Township and Authority Right to Know Officers?
